This morning I went to a flea market in North Portland. It was teaming with life! It was very well attended by both venders and shoppers. Although I did not find any pieces from the 50s-60s I found several antiques that I really liked. On my way home I stopped off at a moving sale and picked up a marble topped cabinet.
The wood and metal have been beautifully reconditioned.
Soon I will put legs on it and convert it into a coffee table.
Antique animal trap. A great decoration for a rustic home. SOLD
This insulator was dipped in boiling water to create a cracked ice look. NFS
Vintage soda crate. A great piece for storage or display! SOLD.
Antique cabinet with with marble top. SOLD
Dimensions: 32'' tall x 36'' wide x 18'' deep.
Marble slab is cracked but does not use.
You certainly have an eye for the good stuff! I wish I didn't live so far away in Australia, or I'd be buying some of your furniture!
ReplyDeleteNever thought of crackling an insulator! Very cool. The marble topped table looks like it would make a wonderful base for a bathroom vanity, with a vessel sink on top... Too bad I don't need one at the moment. Great finds!
