Old Timey Pickin'

This morning there was an estate sale one block from our house.  Heather had the day off of work so she went with me.  We both found some great items.  Here is a look at what I picked out.  Soon you can see what Heather got at joyofallcrafts.com.

For quite a while I have been wanting to do a couple repurposing projects using old Singer sewing table parts.  The first project that I had in mind was to make a side table using the cast iron frame.

A few weeks ago I found this slab of marble.  I knew it was perfect for this project.
I just needed to find the base.
The dimensions of the table are 29'' high x 35'' wide x 20.5'' deep.  It's for sale for $175.

The second project was to make a 4 drawer storage cabinet using the drawere and structure from the sewing table.

I was able to make a cabinet using all original parts from the table.
The top of the cabinet was made using the drop leaf seen above.
 Mission Accomplished!  For Sale $95

I love the orange & blue on this spayer.  It will look even better once I clean it up.  For Sale $15

Steel harware bins.  For Sale $10
